SEEMS IMPOSIBLE

A workshop comic with your own silhouette, based on real facts about !!

The workshop “seems impossible” is an expanded comic shop and giant size that through body language of our own silhouettes and shadows, try to represent stories based on our day to day. And to later incorporate elements of fiction so that the true and false are mimicking in history.

This workshop is part of a personal investigation of artist Jonathan Notary lions on the way in which reality and fiction are interrelated in contemporary artistic practice.

Conceptual basis and technical basis of the project:

This educational project is a response to a series of questions that unite the concept and technique:

1. Concept and creation stories:

How many news we found online or in the newspapers, who read them are so incredible that seem fictitious, and contrary ?, few things that seem authentic and we later found to be false?

This workshop is part of a personal research on the relationship between true and false at the time of creating fiction.

2. Technique.

Can we investigate in the expanded comic? The comic and cartoon based on the body itself? This is interesting because it relates mime, theater and film, with the synthetic language of comics itself, and it is another way to incorporate more reality to our artistic work, nothing more real than ourselves use us to learn to translate emotions from our own body representation thereof.

The use of silhouettes is a very interesting way of understanding the language of comics and synthesize it to make it more understandable to the student.

Objectives:

• Convey the idea that reality can be a good material to create fictional stories, and creating tools to develop creativity based on them.

• Demystifying cartoon drawing creating new techniques accessible for everyone.

• The silhouette and expressive, creative and communicative element

• Foster teamwork and team, eliminating the own authorship, collective work and thinking.

• Move a language like comics, something larger such as wall mural.
